DAVE’s Configuration Tasks

Introduction

  1. After the participant client/application establishes a connection with DAVE, DAVE will initiate a logon request (0800 request) to the participant.

Step 1: Verify that your host has received the logon request (0800 request) from DAVE.

Step 2: Respond to the request with a logon response (0810 response). This will trigger DAVE to proceed.

  2. Following successful logon, DAVE will initiate a key exchange to send the ZAK/ZPK to the participant.

Step 3: Respond to the key exchange request with a key exchange acknowledgment response (0810 response).

  3. DAVE will once again initiate a key exchange to send the ZAK/ZPK to the participant.

Step 4: Respond to the key exchange request with a key exchange acknowledgment response (0810 response).

Now, DAVE is in ready mode to commence any test case.
