Renewal Process
Launch Certificate Management Dashboard
Step 1: Select Certificate Management from OSP's left sidebar
Step 2: Select Active tab
Step 3: Identify certificates that are in red color, indicating certificates that are either expiring in less than 90 days or have passed their expiration date. Click Renew
The Renew button doesn't appear until 90 days before the certificate expires
CSR Procedure
You have two options for certificate renewal: PayNet can generate a new CSR for you OR you can utilize your existing CSR. Please select the option that best suits your preference
This CSR (Certificate Signing Request) is a file that will be used to create a 'signed public certificate'. It should include registered information about your business, and a public key matching the private key used to electronically sign the CSR.
I don’t have my own CSR file
Step 1: Select I don’t have my own CSR file and select Next on the bottom right of the page
Step 2: Read through the notes and tick the checkbox indicating that you understood the risk of using the system
Step 3: Click Download Private Key. A .zip file will be downloaded to your device
Step 4: Select Next from the bottom right of the page
Step 5: Navigate to the folder where you downloaded the file. If you're on Windows, by default, it should be in your Downloads folder
Step 6: Identify the the file, and right click on it
Step 7: Select Extract here
Three files will be extracted which are a new CSR file (.csr), a private key file(.pem) and the public key file(.pub). The date of the generation is included in the files' name. Be sure to note where you securely store it.
I have my own CSR file
Step 1: Select I have my own CSR file
Step 2: Click Attach File (.csr file only) button OR paste the CSR content in the textbox

Step 3: Select Next from the bottom right of the page
Certificate Information & Confirmation
Certificate Information
In this page you will be presented with information of your certificate:
- If you chose I don't have my own CSR file, we will use your information in our database to generate the CSR and certificate.
- If you chose I have my own CSR file, these information are extracted from the CSR you provided.
Select Submit from the bottom right of the page
Certificate Confirmation
If the certificate generation is successful, you will be presented with a confirmation page
